One advantage to living in North Texas: Wait a while and the weather will change. Five days ago we enjoyed temperatures in the 60s. Three days ago, the Polar Vortex enveloped us and wind chills dipped well below zero. Today, highs were in the upper 40s, with the promise of 70-degree temps four days from now.
What might we expect 10 days from now, when we plan to take our next adventure to our “neighborhood” state park? Who knows. We’re hoping that the typical temps for this time of year will prevail: highs in the 50s, lows in the mid-30s. We’re keeping our fingers crossed, as we can hardly wait to hitch up the trailer and hit the road.
